CTE Plus 10-Drone

Turn your CTE classroom into a dynamic hub for developing industry-ready unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) skills. This hands-on training solution provides students with a comprehensive learning experience covering drone assembly, flight principles, safe UAV operation, and mission planning.

Through structured curriculum and practical exercises, students explore UAV career pathways, drone subsystems, LiPo battery technology, FAA regulations, and flight safety procedures. Using flight simulators and hands-on flight training, students develop essential piloting skills, including pitch, roll, throttle, yaw, visual line-of-sight (VLOS) operations, and precision maneuvers. Collaborative activities introduce crew resource management (CRM), team communication, pre-flight inspections, and mission planning, while scenario-based challenges explore real-world UAV applications in agriculture, power production, infrastructure inspection, and more.

The curriculum also includes FAA TRUST test preparation and completion, culminating in a final flight challenge where students demonstrate their technical knowledge, teamwork, and operational skills.

• The Drone Pathways CTE Plus 10-Drone package serves up to 50 students, split into 2 non-concurrent classes of 25 (e.g. period 1 & period 2 UAV classes).
• Curriculum aligned to CTE standards in CA, FL, TX, SC, TN, and UT.
• Includes complimentary orientation webinar and US-based support team to ensure successful implementation.
• Future hardware and curriculum expansion modules to provide additional UAV course offerings.
