CTE Pro 10-Drone

Turn your CTE classroom into a dynamic hub for developing industry-ready unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) skills. This comprehensive, hands-on training solution introduces students to drone assembly, flight principles, safe UAV operation, and autonomous mission planning, providing practical experience with real-world drone technologies and applications.

Through structured curriculum and interactive learning activities, students explore UAV career pathways, LiPo battery technology, drone subsystems, motor installation, lab safety, and the forces of flight. Flight simulation exercises introduce essential piloting controls, including pitch, roll, throttle, and yaw, before students advance to hands-on visual line-of-sight (VLOS) flight training and precision maneuvers. Students also develop critical operational skills through crew resource management (CRM), team communication, pre-flight inspections, and mission planning, while exploring industry applications such as agriculture, power production, and infrastructure inspection.

The curriculum incorporates FAA regulations, ethical drone operation, and TRUST test preparation and completion. Students apply their knowledge through scenario-based simulations, collaborative flight operations, and capstone planning activities, culminating in a final flight challenge that reinforces technical proficiency, teamwork, and safe UAV operation.

• The Drone Pathways CTE Pro 10-Drone package serves up to 50 students, split into 2 non-concurrent classes of 25 (e.g. period 1 & period 2 UAV classes).
• Curriculum aligned to CTE standards in CA, FL, TX, SC, TN, and UT.
• Includes complimentary orientation webinar and US-based support team to ensure successful implementation.
• Future hardware and curriculum expansion modules to provide additional UAV course offerings.
